Bishop E. L. Davis, Sr. was born on April 23, 1952, in Palatka, Florida to Reverend Elliott and Mary Etta Davis. He is a native of Grandin, Florida and resides there with his wife, Denise Davis. They have two sons, Micah and Edward II.

He (Bishop Davis) is presently employed as a sixth grade Language Arts Teacher at C.H. Price Middle School. He taught third grade at Melrose Elementary School for 17 years. The educational degrees that Bishop Davis hold are in the following areas: BA-Elementary Education/University of Florida, MS-Educational Leadership-Nova Southeastern University and Doctorate of Theology/St. Paul Bible College, New York.

Bishop Davis is an ordained minister in the Church Of God. For the past twenty plus years, he has served in the capacity pastor and founder of Harvest Temple Ministries. He is also CEO/Founder of Appointed Anointed Music, Inc. Bishop Davis is a BM Publisher, Writer, And Artist.

The Lord Jesus Christ has been gracious to allow him to obtain other accolades such as: 1974-1977 US Army Assistant Chaplain, 1987-88 Teacher of the Year, 1987 Certificate of Merit/Putnam County School Board, and 2003 National Leadership Award as Honorary Co-Chairman Business Advisory Council-National Republican Congressional Committee. Bishop Davis has given back to the community by tutoring and mentoring youth in the Helping to Teach Mastery After School Tutoring Program.

Bishop Davis hobbies and interest include sports and coin collecting. Also, He truly loves singing, composing and producing music. Bishop Davis has produced a demo for various local artists. The musical genres include: Traditional Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Christian Jazz and Quartet. Bishop Davis grew up singing with his siblings in church. In his teens, the Lord anointed him with the Holy Ghost and with the ability to play the guitar and piano. Gainful experience in Church as Music Minister helped to polish his gifts. Thus began Bishop Davis' music career.

The Music Ministry has afforded Bishop Davis the opportunity to meet Grammy Award-winning Artist Michael Winans, who was inspirational in recording his current CD, "POWER". Bishop Davis has met other Grammy Award-winning artists Fred Hammond, Lee Williams of the Hi-way QC'S, and Karen Clark Sheard. His Music Ministry has placed him in concerts with other Grammy Award-winning Artists like The Williams Brothers, and Harvey Watkins and the Canton Spirituals. As Bishop Davis puts it, "To personally meet these legends in the gospel industry is an awesome expericene that I will always treasure. They are truly "Gospel Giants" that inspire me to always strive at being all that God wants me to be."

A future aspiration is to obtain a major record label to help enable him share the essence of his heart via his music ministry. It is a "Word" in song befitting the times; personal experiences embodied in the "Word of God" through song to reach a gravely ill world.
