In 1969, legendary country singer Merle Haggard introduced the city of Muskogee, Oklahoma to the world with his classic hit "Okie From Muskogee." The song sparked a tremendous amount of attention, cementing the singer's stardom. However, the hip-hop world has yet to experience the potency of lyrical showmanship from the state's best-kept secret. Lion's Den Studios along with 3rd Lane and Boogie Boy Productions have released a one of a kind compilation album of emcees and artists from Muskogee, Oklahoma who display their raw talent of lyrical expertise in a way unbeknownst to the common hip hop music lover.
