A sexy thug-passion slow jam, infused with a combination of hip-hop and R&B, laced with sexually explicit connotations.
6 MP3 Songs
HIP HOP/RAP: Hip Hop, URBAN/R&B: R&B Rap mix
Details:
New Hip Hop group the epitome of Southern Swagger
While the industry is consumed by the theory of whether hip hop is dead, who is the king or queen, or who will save hip hop, emerges beneath the dirty south from what is recognized as the Gunshine State is hip hop quartet Blacc Wolf Cartel. Blacc Wolf consist of members âBlacc Toppâ, âSolja Boiâ, âYoung Goodyâ & âBin FranQâ [who is currently on hiatus waiting for his grand entrance back on the scene]
Striving for chart-topping success, Blacc Wolf Cartel teamed with BMIâs multi-award winner and songwriter of the year, super mega producer âJim Jonsin.â to produce their first single; whose credits include âUnpredictableâ (Jamie Fox), âShowstopperâ (Danity Kane), âLetâs Goâ (Trick Daddy), and âGrind On Meâ (Pretty Ricky) just to name a few of his Hot 100 Billboard Hits.
In 2005, while doing shows throughout Florida, they met the dynamic producer and enlisted him to ignite the inferno for their debut album. With a sure-fire debut single titled âSex with Uâ -- a thug-passion, infusion of hip-hop and R&B, laced with sexually explicit lyrics is scheduled for release in the 1st quarter of â07. The âsingleâ is sure to be a hit among radio, music television, ringtones, and its female audience.
Their label Cartel Muzik Group chose to release the âSex With Uâ single first to fine-tune the mood of hip hopâyou know âto make love not warââsafely, with an enclosed condom in their CD; which has already began to summon critics and conservative watchdogs.
Blacc Wolf Cartel is setting pace to keep the trend of hot acts heating up the hip hop industry out of Florida. Along with the likes of Pitbull, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, and Plies, who all have been representing the swamp, Blacc Wolf is definitely rising to the occasion on their upcoming album which has been noted for being funky, blunt, and skillful, with bass-driven hard beats and powerful, literate, daring vocals, that will keep the southern swaggers among hip hopâs elite.
The group was formed by members Rufus âBlacc Toppâ Swift a product of Dallas, Texas & Deonta âSolja Boiâ Ponds, of the Tampa Bay area. After several impromptu meetings they met Devon âYoung Goodyâ Goodloe and Benjamin âBin FranQâ Hammond both from Tampa Bay, Florida. The group later met there labelâs CEO Thomas Graham, also the owner of Seven Star Management, who is currently producing several reality TV shows. Graham states, âThe right act, followed by a hit song, coupled with an aggressive, knowledgeable support team and a strong movement are the chief ingredients for success in this industryâ.
Their unique sound and diverse styles combined with strapping vocals, production, and arrangements are consistently on mark, complete with notably great collaborations. As a whole, Blacc Wolf Cartel will be among 2007 hottest hip hop artists of the year.
