Bogs Visionary Orchestra is led by singer/songwriter A. Bogs. The orchestra is generally comprised of friends Bobby Antosca (bass), Jill Pittman (backing vocals), Timothy Dick (drums & backing vocals), Jonah Dalhart (lap steel and lead guitar), as well as other guest artists. BVO combines the anthem like melodies of old-time country with indie grit and experimental niavity. Their songs hint at the surreal yet are imbued with simplicity and heartfelt zeal. They sit suspended somewhere between the Great Depression and the New Recession.
