Seven original songs, plus covers of rock songs such as Pearl Jam's "Alive," and Lenny Kravitzâ "If You Canât Say No, and strong vocal percussion, courtesy of Boyz Nite Out's vocal percussionist Eugene Rocha, add up to a professional and impressive result. State-of-the-art technology and hip production create a full spectrum of sound, emphasized on tunes such as "My Heart," and these guys can sing too, as is evidenced by Boyz-II-Men type cuts like "When I Look Into Your Eyes." Bluesy urban pop, such as the group's own "Big Black Cadillac" and âNever let go," packs a wallop. Itâs a Herculean task to pick one highlight on this album, but for heart-wrenchingly poignant delivery, you canât beat "Iâll Beâ.
