At the time this CD was recorded, Braelin was serving out a tour with the US Army in Iraq. As an infantryman he was given several opportunities to witness war from a side which most other artists can only take in from television and newspapers. All recordings were done using only a laptop, an office telephony mic, a cheap acoustic guitar, and a Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
