Details:
"The Bridesmaids" are Leah Paul & the wonderful musicians she collaborates with to make beautiful, catchy songs, that will stay with you the whole day through.
Leah is a native of Buffalo, NY--who then moved to Ann Arbor to study flute at the Univeristy of Michigan School of Music. Leah soon realized that she was missing out on lots of fun by just playing classical flute, so she learned how to play the saxophone, and then began playing all kinds of music like jazz, rock, afro-beat, etc.
Leah moved to Brooklyn in 2003 and has played with Anthony Braxton, Nomo, Fu-Arkestra, Jessica Pavone, Fire of Space, and many many more.
Leah currently plays in the "Eternal Buzz Brass Band" featuring members of Antibalas, and "Blarvuster" featuring members of Xiu Xiu and People.
"Here Come the Bridesmaids..." was made with Stuart Bogie who plays tenor sax in Antibalas, and has worked with TV on the Radio and Celebration--and Eric Biondo who plays trumpet in Antibalas, and has worked with the Monkees, and has his own band Beyondo. The album was produced and recorded by Stuart Bogie, Eric Biondo, and Leah Paul. All songs are by Leah Paul.
