Brendan Murphy writes songs the way that thrifty people go grocery shopping. The songs are out there you just got to find them. He has actively been snatching songs out of the air for the last eight years and finally after 28 long years on this planet has finally released his debut album, Jumped The Shark. Brendan believes that all good music revolves around passion and his songs, although mostly written about personal happenings have the ability to resonate with people in ways he would have never imagined. Which in term inspires him to write more songs in a beautiful endless cycle of art and expression. He believes that in the land of a thousand singer-songwriters a good singer- songwriter has two main responsibilities; to entertain, and be original. Brendan hopes that after hearing his music he has accomplished both.
