Bruised Heel is a Christian Rock Music Ministry! Our goal is to help those who donât know the Lord see the truth that is in Jesus Christ, through music, and to encourage those that do know Him!
We primarily bring Christian ROCK! to the incarcerated juvenile delinquents in facilities in Washington State, paired with a challenging message from Pastor Sonny, in an effort to reach those who may need the Lord and a change in life circumstances. With the CD now completed, we plan to perform LIVE more often, and reach as many as possible for the Lord!
All of us have a love for guitar rock/heavy metal, and have been influenced by Van Halen, Styx, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, AC/DC etc, but we all have come to know Jesus Christ along the way, and now we are using the gift of music that God has been honing in us for all these years to Rock it up for Jesus!
All of our songs are original compositions written by longtime friends Lonnie and Michael, with lyrics so clear the message is unmistakable. You will know where we stand right off the bat! There will be no wondering âwhat are these guys all about??? â.
Songs like âCome on Homeâ, and âI Donât Need Suicideâ talk about the traps we can fall into by using drugs and alcohol, and answer the questions about what it takes to get out of the rut caused by that lifestyle. âPsalm 23â is a bible verse that is quoted many times over, every day, throughout the world, and we quote it word for word in this rocked up version with a very melodic structure, and a powerful vocal delivery. âForgive One Anotherâ is a real rocker talking about just thatâ¦forgivenessâ¦and how it will always unite us. The rest of the songs are easily absorbed once you give them a listen, and you wonât be able to get them out of your head!
