The Story of Buddy is pretty simple. Two men meet and start making music together. Itâs actually a little more complicated than that, but why bore you with all of that. The point is, Buddy was born out of a love of music between 2 men who love each other.

The Players:
Tom Campbell: Vocals and Synths
Allan Walker: Vocals and Synths

Tom and Allan have very different styles. Tom brings a love of classic rock, 80âs electronic, and new wave music to the table. Allan is more of a house / R&B /PoP kinda guy. The result of this fusion is beat driven-music that combines dance licks, sing along choruses, and thought provoking lyrics- all wrapped up in a slammin, electronically produced package.

âThe December Principleâ, the 3rd Buddy CD, picks up where âThe Slopeâ Buddyâs 2nd CD leaves off. Sticking to their formula of âno formulaâ, Buddy begins the CD with a lush arrangement of strings and synths (a bold move) that invite the listener to relax and enjoy whatâs to come. And this CD strives to give the listener an ear full. From the poppy âEasierâ to the dance driven âFree to Loveâ youâre sure to find something here pleasing to your ear.

Tracks like âAlmost Tuffâ, a song about the murder of a young man working as a deliveryman in NYC, while he was delivering food, will move you as Allan sings angrily and the voice of Jackie Walker seems to soar above the clouds, in lament of this tragedy. You are left breathless as the last note dissipates. âRainy Dayâ, finds Tom on lead vocals. This track combines an 80âs feel with a catchy simple chorus. Youâll find yourself tapping your feet and singing along with Tom, âjust 1 more rainy day in the city.â And the dark âSecrets of Indecencyâ, a track about the down-low, that is the secret lives of homosexual men living heterosexual lives, is just thatâ¦dark, but rhythmic.

And the CD continues on with a variety of music that will return to your CD player time and again.

Buddy is currently working on a concept piece that will be available in 2007.
