My name is Cassandra Bright and I am from Memphis,Tennessee and a graduate from The University of Tennessee. All My life I have always worked with helping people. I have a love for children, the elderly and the disable. In growing up I have always loved to write poems and sing, however I never persuaded a career in neither area because I had to work. In my heart I never forgot the things I enjoyed the most and that was writing. I would write poems on a daily basis as a means of relaxation.Through the years I learned alot and began to write more. I also had a love for music. In my home we listened to all types of music. I love all types of music and artists. I do not have any particular style of music that I like. Some of the artists I like are Alicia Keys, Donna Summers, Santana,Curtis Mayfield,ABBA, Vanessa Williams, Phil Collins, Earth,Wind and Fire, Alabama,BB King and that is just to name a few. I am older now and just beginning to get into the singing industry but I am a believer that it is never to late to do some of the things you want to do in life thatyou enjoy the most. It is not always whether you succeed but you can always say that you tried. "Love YA" is the first song I wrote and have recorded. This song tells a story while giving you a dancible beat. Even though I am beginning to sing in my forties, I am glad because I feel that God has given me more to write and I would like to share my talent with you. I would like to leave with you these words"Life is to be lived and we mustlearn to live and enjoy life to the fullness . It is important that we always make an attempt to do some of the things we enjoy doing.It is not whether we succeed but you can always say that you tried. That holds value more so than anything. I am an artist with a goal. I love elderly people and I hope someday that I am able to open a Day Activity center for the elderly.
