"Never try to teach a chicken to sing" they say, "it wastes your time and annoys the chicken." Of course, that depends on the chicken. The Born-Again Chickens weren't the least bit annoyed by learning to sing; in fact, they use their singing to annoy others.
You rarely hear chickens singing in 12-part harmony, mostly because it's so difficult to find 12 chickens who can read music. But the Born-Again Chickens consider it part of their God-given calling to make music and sing songs of praise. They're not concerned whether anyone praises their singing. All they want in return is a smile and some chicken feed.
