Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1971, Pianist and Uruguayan composer graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, U.S.A. He lives in New York City, where he teaches composition and improvisation at the "Harbor Conservatory for the Performing Arts" since 1997.

He worked with celebrity singer and actress Bette Midler being his musical director and teacher for two years, with duo presentations . Also he collaborated with legendary actor Robert Duvall in recent projects and with singer Neil Sedaca.

As a film scoring composer on a major film, he debuted in 2006 in the Spanish -Uruguayan film: "The Rind" from the producers of Pedro Almodovar's movies

As a jazz musician, he performs with such musicians such as John Benitez, Mark Egan, Manolo Badrena, Mark Egan, Charlie Persip, Avishai Cohen, Jorge Trasante, Curtis Lundy and Miguel Zenón among others.

As a Tango pianist, arranger and composer, he performs regularly with great tango artists such as Victor Lavallen (bandoneon player from the Osvaldo Pugliese 's Orchestra , and and Mariano Mores), Carlos Niesi ( D' arienzo Orchestra), Hector del Curto (O. Pugliese Orchestra), and many more. He also tours worldwide with the Broadway hit Forever Tango, Eternal Tango Orchestra and Avantango.

In the classical world, he presents himself as a composer and performer of his works as soloist, duos, trios, and also participating with Yo-yo Ma, the Panamerican Symphony Orchestra, the ensemble of the 12 cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic ,

His discography includes 13 album as a leader and participating projects, edited in USA, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Uruguay.
