Christina Aurea started writing songs when she was 12 years old. She started singing before she started talking and she first crawled on stage in a diaper before she was two years old.

Now, at 36, she keeps busy raising two sons and trying to keep alive the original artist community that contributed to Asheville, North Carolina's recent BOOM! Her 12 year old son, Ian, started the indie label Blue Dragon Records in the spring of 2006 and has hired Christina as his Operating Manager. Together they are working on several fund raising compilations that will benefit the local Asheville Community.

White Trash Goddess is a collection of original songs written over the last decade that will provide the perfect soundtrack to your next party or gathering. Genre bending and soul attending, Kim Clark of WNCW's Local Color claims this sweet, southern rock will "knock your socks off"!

White Trash Goddess boasts over 2 dozen local Asheville musicians, and one from Greer, SC - Christina's cousin Bob Hoyle, self-taught on the fiddle! Three Asheville bands are featured, including Fifth House, Davenport and Shadegrown. Other artists hail from Asheville bands such as the Morgan Kraft Band, the Green Fields, the Great Slide, the Royal We, Man or Astroman, El Hub and Hollywood Red! This ecclectic mix of rhythm & blues, soul, funk and country, including two ballads, will introduce you to an artist whose career promises to span several generations, bringing hope and strenth to the Evolution Revolution!
