'Cellarscape' (sell-er-skaype)
1. Picture a landscape, then a seascape. Now imagine a cellarscape: a small, enclosed, subterranean place. A place of comfort. A secret place. Somewhere dark and claustrophobic, but also somewhere safe and warm.
2. Emotionally-charged vocals and acoustic guitars melt into haunting samples, ominous but hopeful cellos, and at times, unforgiving and attacking percussion.

Cellarscape is the moniker that Paul Terry performs and records his experimental acoustic-based material under (he also composes film soundtracks, with British comedy drama 'The Wake' featuring his latest score).

July 24, 2006 saw the release of the first Cellarscape EP entitled Copilot. It features five songs including the anthemic live favorite 'Static', the affecting, fractured layers of 'Repeat, Erase, Unite' and the fragile 'Wearing Masks'.

The follow-up EP, Fifth Phoenix, was recently released (Feb 5, 2007), and showcases another five different shades of the Cellarscape sound â from the schizophrenic 'A Brief Time of Bullets', through to the uplifting 'Kerosene' and the cathartic storm that is 'Lack of Evidence'.
