"I recently got a hold of some studio out takes of the Beatles recording "Blackbird". On the recording you can tell that Paul McCartney is playing guitar singing and tapping his foot live. The vibe that was captured was the blackbird we all know and love.

"The Sways" is my attempt at that same spirit. I'll make no apologies for the rawness or imperfections in what is portrayed here. I'm so happy with the recording because I think it is the first session I've ever done that's completely vulnerable. Hopefully people can appreciate that.

The Sways is a lyric from track number 4, Love and The Essence of Life. A word used to describe the ups and downs of life. We're all moved by the sways."
