"Lianna" is a track off their demo that embodies that '60's style, funkadelic sound with more of an edge. "This cassette which was given to me by a friend in the business, lay upon my desk amidst the ruins for about 3 months. The thing that made me pick it up was it's title...PIGEON?
Strange but it intrigued me. It turns out that this is some of the best stuff that I've heard from just about any band or artist.
And aside from being virtually unknown especially in SOUTH FLORIDA, from what I understand these guys are unsigned. Hard to believe from the sound of their tape."
"A brand new incredible sounding band whose songs will touch you one way or the other. Some will hit you hard, some will touch you softly, and the way that they arranged and the onslaught of thought which goes into lyric's can and may leave you wanting more as it caresses the soul.

I saw these guys in a Westchester club awhile ago and they blew me away because although the sound quality was not the best, they played their 1/2 hour set so well that I was compelled to buy a cd.The singer kicks ass and their songs are so well written that I wonder why they aren't playing bigger venues. I'm going to follow this band closely because they have the potential to "break out" if they get a break. Hopefully I can help with that. Check them out sometime.
