Details:
Random Allusion started in July 2004 with Marco and Javier getting together and wanting to do something very different from what they had done before. Marco and Javier have been playing together for close to 6 years with many projects. Javier met Aldo through a friend guitar player while they were working on a cover band project. His friend told Javier he knew of a young kid who could play very good. Javier, his friend and Aldo had a jam session and the impression was made. Javier asked Aldo if he wanted to join and the threesome got together on a very hot Sunday Bloody Sunday day to work out one song Javier had written a riff too. The chemistry was apparent from the beginning and Random Allusion having no name at the time started a long 2 year writing process.
Random Allusion started out as something very different than what it is today. Marco and I (Javier) wanted to do something very melodic, but at the same time something very hard rock. Not metal. We have had a history of metal with a band we started in our teens called Rotor and we were pretty burned out from it.
The idea was sustained with songs like Window and This Distance, but we started writing heavier and more progressive as time went on. You have to understand that when you write for two years and only once a week due to hectic outside work schedules, it really makes you look at the details of everything that is being done for that single day. That being said, we came to realization that we wanted to put everything we love into the mix; being metal, rock, electronica, pop, progressive, classical, classic rock, etc.
There on, we embarked on a journey which has taken us through different people, feelings and many, many dissapointments as well as great accomplishments. To learn more, check out our page. Thank you
