Welcome to Walterâs Garden. This collection of songs by Rose Anne Bivens and Nikki Barranger has been produced by NARP, which stands for Nikki and Roseâs Partnership. The bouquet has been engineered for Flying Harp Discs, at the Abita Music Company, located at Red Bluff, six miles and a few footsteps north of Covington, on the Bogue Falaya River. In early June you can smell the gardenias and in the winter the thousand plus camellia japonica bushes bloom like crazy. Thatâs Nikkiâs garden.

Walters Garden, on the other hand is something else entirely!

Accompanying Rose Anne are her two sons: David Bivens, vocal harmony, guitar, twelve-string, banjo, and slide â while Thomas Bivens contributes bass. Nikki plays on Dawlins and sings harmony on his eponymous Walterâs Garden, while Jerry Embree (appearing courtesy of the Abita Music Company) adds his sax on Minnesotaâs Requiem. Jerry Hess provides the occasional drum; Suzanne Harper strikes Nikkâs Celtic harp on Homeless, and Karen Jung brings civilization to the proceedings with her wonderful cello on When You Are Old and Love is Not All.

We hope you enjoy this gatherum of song-blossoms at least as much as we enjoyed ourselves whilst plucking them.
