Details:
If the music industry was gifted with what would become one of the greatest voices heard, that voice belonged to Robert Moe. Born into a family of singers the soulful voice of Robert Moe was sculptured by God and nurtured in the church choir. His parents, aunts, and uncles soon realized the special talent that dwelled among them as they watched a young Robert Moe sing three-part harmony; he was just two years old.
Robert was born to sing and attributes his inspiration to the beautiful melodies of his mother, Violet Moe. Robert often reminisces on hearing his mother on the radio with Clinton Utterbach as they led the Clinton Utterbach Concert Ensemble. Robert continues to enjoy the soulful sound of his mother to this day. He especially remembers the encouraging words of his father, which pushed him to pursue his dream. He would firmly state " What God has for you is for you", these are words Robert holds firmly in his heart.
Growing up in a household where "everybody can sang" Robert learned various vocal styles and genre. He is known for the great control and range that has been mastered under the influence of God. Robert began singing in his local church services at the age of 6 and by age 15 sang backup vocals for concert dates with artist like Howard Smith and Soul Liberation. Gospel quickly became Robert's favorite genre of music and he exercised his vocal capacity while singing with his Aunt and mentor Teresa Miller. Robert was given the opportunity to meet many of Gospel's greatest talents as he traveled around the globe singing. Some of these greats include Andre and Sandra Crouch, Mattie Moss Clarke and her daughters, the Clarke Sisters. He also worked with such great artist such as Lashaun Pace, Douglas Miller, Desiree Coleman Jackson and Timothy Wright to name a few. Robert has also shared the stage with such greats as Donnie McClurkin, Melonie Daniels, Teresa Miller and Anointed, Hezekiah Walker, and Bobby Jones.
Robert's talents are not limited to Gospel music. He continues to accomplish great things in the world of jazz and country music. Through his experiences Robert has been given the opportunity to work with such artists as Celine Dion, Kenny Latimore, Noel Pointer, R. Kelly and Bob Baldwin. He has referenced songs; vocal coached artists and sung with artists Michael Boyd and the group Silverado.
Robert's gift for music does not stop at vocals. He has also written and arranged songs for church choirs, artist and weddings. These songs include " You Deserve Glory", "You Changed Me", and " Calling You", all of which impacted thousands of people worldwide.
Robert is not new to the theater world either. For many years, Robert was a cast member in several Off-Broadway musicals including "Mama, I Want To Sing," "Let The Music Play Gospel," and "The Color of God."
In addition to these credentials, Robert's vocals are currently heard on the theme songs for radio station 93.7 FM in Dothan, Alabama.
Robert takes his calling to sing very seriously. He believes that he is here to encourage, strengthen, and educate listeners. "The world needs to know that there are solutions and lessons to every situation. Every song has a meaning behind it. We must all learn our lessons well."
