Sam Wedgwood is a multi-talented, versatile musician. Despite being only 26 years old his profile and achievements during this relatively short time-span read more like those of an accomplished professional who has been in the business for decades.
For almost a year now Sam has been taking a well-earned sabbatical from music writing in order to tour the world with Jamie Cullum as a âmulti-taskerâ guitarist, trumpeter and vocalist.
Most musicians would have probably been more than contented to continue with the rock and roll lifestyle, playing with a successful band to audiences of up to 30,000 all around the globe. But at the end of April last year, Sam came home to England to focus on the completion of his debut album
