The earliest incarnation of Sardonic Grin began in June of 2000 as a small jam-style band. SG has since evolved into a local powerhouse with a formidable "ARMY" of fans. SG has a number of original songs as well as a fairly extensive library of covers necessary to fill the 4 hour shows they are used to playing locally.

Sardonic Grin's sound is a mixture of all it's members influences, from Tool-esque melody to Six Feet Under power rythyms. Their original sound is tough to lump into one category, as every song has it's own unique sound and character.

SG has taken on every aspect of creating the total band package... from writing their own material, to doing their own graphics, recording, video, promotions and management. SG hopes their self-sufficiency will help them to expand and reach the next level in their quest for total world domination.
