Back with another one Skryptrs Testimony returns with the "ON DA RISE" mixtape. Twenty-five hard hitting tracks in which Skryptrs produced twelve himself. The rapper, producer, engineer returns for what he calls his only opportunity in this life. "I never claimed to be the best. I'm just good at what I do. Whether it's making beats, rapping, or producing I'm at my best, feel me?" Skryptrs says with a modest smile.
The 23 year old MC seems extremely mature for his age and seems to handle the responsibilities of almost ten people. Skryptrs single handily started his company Sik Cat Entertainment, but also does the following: manages his website and his myspace page, runs his own studio, books shows, provides CD design layouts to his designer NICE, produces and engineers for local artisit, and owns his own CD duplication center. "The shit is crazy. I do more by 12 in the afternoon than most do in a week. I hit the lab about 8 a.m. check my e-mails and return any important phone calls, work on a few beats, do a little writing, mix a few tracks, and repeat the process till about 12:30 at night". "I'm not trying to be anything other than the best that I can be feel me?". "I'm not waiting for anybody to provide me with anything or give me a f-ing handout." Even so with all things added to his plate Skryptrs has not only begun to sell ring tones, but has plans to launch a joint partnership clothing company with his designer NICE. "Given the average life span of a rapper I'm trying to do it all. If I can't rap anymore for some reason I need something to fall back on feel me?".
