Formed in Los Angeles by two Englishmen, lead singer Robin Goodchild says of his band, âWeâre an English/American crossbreed⦠a hybrid if you will. Weâre good for the environmentâ.
Goodchild, along with fellow countryman Edward Shiers (drums) made the move to the States in 2002 where they found like-minded musicians Mark Warnholtz (guitar) and John Ransom (bass) âThe chemistry between the four of us is unlike anything weâve experienced before, itâs what weâd been searching for.â recalls Shiers.
The new band disappeared into a broken down rehearsal space to emerge several months later with a sound of their own and a self-titled EP.

The sound? Alternatively accessible, melodic and emotional, ethereal yet aggressive. Warnhotlz explains; âOur influences on both sides of the Atlantic set us apart from many of our British and American counterpartsâ.

With regular air-play on major taste-maker radio stations, the speed at which the band has garnered interest has surprised even them. According to John, their âgrassrootsâ approach to promoting the band has been very successful â âWeâre developing an organic following of dedicated music fans, who love what weâre doing, and are encouraging and supporting us as we do it.â
