âSolo Sliceâ is the stage name of this artist and âPiece of Cakeâ Eclectic Fusion Soundsâ is the name of the first double album on CD, work in progress of different styles fused together to make a sound that no one can put into a particular genre. Watch out for the new version of this album where she will be changing the feel and production quality through working with a new band who are the âcream of Southamptonâ in her age group. Also watch out for her album with more soulful songs and her Rock & Roll album. There will be no end to the styles she will present to her loving fans. She begins with fusing styles then she will put other songs into mainstream genres. Open your mind up to this first album.
In the past: Her father was a double bass and harmonica player, her mother a dolcimar player and singer, her grandmother on her mother's side a dancer whilst playing a concertina.
In the not so distant past:'FIRST LIGHT' (New Wave) Band 1982, 'The Blues Band' 1984, 'Twice Is Nice-Caesar & Brigs' 2000, 'Three Is A Crowd' 2000 are the bands she has been a part of but all other times since 1979 she has been 'Solo Slice', also, one of her original songs made final twenty and another final thirty in the âEuro vision Song Contestâ.
Before the 1991 recession , she was offered a record contract from Stock, Atkins and Waterman, and was quoted by âTamla Motownâ as writing a better version and style of a fresh new concept song mysteriously released by another artist after trying to raise interest with record companies.
As a young artist, she had one song that hit the American Charts but was released by a band that had used the song without permission, became a one hit wonder, and disappeared, leaving a valued lesson learnt about copy right procedures.
Also chosen out of 50,000 to be the first five hundred in the second showing of the âXfactorâUK, but was unable to continue through illness.
These original songs were inspired by its music and events in her life.
The cover versions done by this artist on stage are âentertaining & power filledâ. The approach of the performance of this artist inspires the audience to get up and join in by playing solely for them. She sings and plays a great version of .âParadise Cityâ, her audience love it.

She sings locally in pubs and clubs in the UK, has âgreatâ audience response and letâs anyone in the audience come up to dance and sing.
She has run successful âJam Session Nightsâ where musicians and fans came to see her even travelling from as far as Europe.
âIn all the 27 years Iâve been with my husband he has never got up to danced with me but at Solo Sliceâs gig he danced all night with me. I thanked her as my husband promised to let himself go more often as he was inspired and encouraged by this incredible performerâ as said by an audience memeber at the Waterfront, Southampton, England.

She is no spring chicken and has been a part of the music scene in Southampton, UK for a long time. Quoted by the famous as the âcream of the cropâ of that area and time. She had also acted Shakespeare on the Globe Theatre Stage, is a published poet, a Specialist Advisor to the Associate Inspectorate in the Education of Arts, and tutors Music and the Eclectic Arts in her studio at Lady Bâs Music & Eclectic Arts Academy Career Development. She invites young artists to come study under her to exceed her.
