"Color Blind" is the debut release from Boulder, Colorado based guitarist/songwriter Chris Soucy. With songs that range from pop, folk and swing to acoustic ballads and electric rock, Chris shows off his singing, songwriting and guitar playing talents on this new recording. Joining him on these tracks are many of Colorado's finest session players, included the amazingly talented Sally Taylor (the daughter of James Taylor and Carly Simon) on vocals on two tracks.

Chris has been an in-demand sideman in Colorado's music scene for many years. He is currently on tour with Universal/Foundations recording artists Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers (www.stephenkellogg.com). He has been a regular member of the Sally Taylor Band; he has performed as a hired gun with oldies acts such as the Shangri-La's (best remembered for their 60's hit "Leader of the Pack"); recorded commercial jingles; worked in the orchestra pit for musicals such as "Mamma Mia!" at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and on national tours for such shows as Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Starlight Express"; gigged with Celtic groups, blues and country bands, folk singers, lounge acts, everything imaginable. On this solo recording, he shows his stuff on a project of his own.
