A little history.... and a little philosophy...
I am a solo artist performing on piano, guitar and voice. My music has been described as peaceful and relaxing. It seems to cross over into many genre's. Some say new age, soft rock... and it goes on, I would suggest you listen and decide for yourself. The CD contains instrumental songs with piano, bass and percussion, vocal selections as needed and guitar finger picking.

I began playing music with piano lessons during 1st and 2nd grade while growing up in Denver Colorado. I have always felt strongly about original music. To remain true to myself I felt I had to write what was in my head and heart regardless of whether it was mainstream musical style or not. I spent a lot of time in the back country of Colorado gaining much inspiration from this life style. I believe music is a medium that crosses all boundaries of humanity. I have tried to incorporate my life experiences into the music so maybe others can see a little of what I was seeing or feel a little of what I was feeling.

During the 80's I played in a couple bands and wrote a lot of music but very different from what I am writing now. I also learned to play a little bass guitar and harmonica during this time. I slowed down musically in the late 80's and in 1988 I returned to college. I decided that I wanted to learn about electronics, I thought I might work for Yamaha or Roland someday as an engineer. I also wanted to put together a personal studio to write and record my music. I graduated with an electrical engineering degree from Colorado State University. I am now working as a professional engineer while writing and recording music.
