This is BONES OF CONTENTION's first album now available on CD. Old school Jam-band with flowing gooves and tasty lead guitar. Jangley guitars, tight vocal harmonies, and dancing
bass and drums make this CD a treat. The Grateful Dead and
Little Feat are big influences on the band, showing their blues, rock and country roots.
Annie McKerrow's vocals add a beatifull touch along with Scott Finch's big Hammond B3 organ and Paul Countyman's guitar and vocals. This CD captures stellar days of kinetic energy when the band first developed their sound and expanded their consciousness. The analog recording is exceptionally vibrant and has just been remastered for maximum pleasure.
This was lead guitarist Bob Parduhn's first recording, who later went on to form the DOKTORS, and later recorded two solo CDs. TJ Glowacki's bass work with his Alembic distinctly gives the band its laid back groove along with drummer Rob Giannattasio's drum work.
For four years the band was called NEW POTATO CABOOSE before changing their name. At this point the band recorded at Velvet Sky Studios so you can relaxe, dance, and enjoy.
