The Kevin Townson Group is an instrumental group specializing in their own unique blend of Flamenco and Latin Jazz sounds.
Kevin Townson holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Classical Guitar performance from the University of North Texas and has performed extensively throughout the North Texas area as both a solo Classical Guitar and with his group. He is currently Director of the Childbloom Guitar Program in Weatherford, TX, in addition to serving as adjunct faculty at Tarrant County College and Tarleton State College.
Album Description:
"Between The Lines" is the follow up CD from The Kevin Townson Group. These are original instrumental works which show a variety of sounds and styles. Still at the forefront is the Flamenco Rumba as well as other traditional Latin styles. In addition, more pop elements and darker mood settings are incorporated on this CD.
