Anthony J. âTonyâ Spencer, a native Annapolitan, released his most compelling CD âItâs Timeâ on December 6, 2006 at the Metropolitan, 169 West Street, Annapolis, Maryland. This collection of classic R&B and jazz favorites includes memorable songs of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Al Jarreau, Dinah Washington, Lou Rawls and many others. Spencerâs robust yet charming style is intricately highlighted with a perfected sampling of all the energies of a professional vocal talent. âItâs Timeâ is Tonyâs most current offering to the world of music/entertainment and will captivate all cultures and listening audiences.

âI wanted to feature some of my favorite songs by artists that I truly idolized,â said Spencer. âThe thought behind âItâs Timeâ mirrors the journey that I will take to renew my singing career,â he added.

Independent Vocal Performer: Tony manages a performing artist career which has included appearances with Jimmy Smith, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Jimmy Smith, War, The Soul Stirrers, The Dixie Humming Birds, The Gospelaires, The Pilgrim Jubilee, James Cleveland, Shirley Caesar, performed at the Fishnet Festival with Larry & Bobbi Andes (1986-90), BeBe & CeCe Winans, Larnelle Harris, Carmen, Twila Paris, Jesse Dixon, Marlon LeFevere, First Call, The Bill Bather Vocal Band, Russ Taff, The Imperials, Michael W. Smith and many others.

He has also performed with various entities: internationally with the Calgary Alberta Philharmonic Orchestra, and in Alba, Italy where he performed the âMozart to Motownâ Concert with St. Maryâs College, Stef Scaggiari, Brian Ganz and other international artists in the 2003 Saluzzo Spring Festival, and with Maestro Ernie Green and the Annapolis Chorale in Annapolis and with the Florida Philharmonic, in Tampa, Florida.

In February â06 Tony accompanied his producer, Stefan Scaggiari, to his hometown of Evansville, Indiana to perform the Mozart to Motown concert with the Evansville Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Along with his poetic and vocal gifts, Tony, is a freelance model and has executed various levels of acting: "The Meeting" with Greg Alan Williams of Bay Watch, Remember the Titans, and The District, performed print medium and voice-overs for Isuzu Rodeo, and a number of industrial videos for the FCC, the FAA, Motorola, and Radialkeratonomy with Dan Powell of Take One Video, Inc.
