Vivandy was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She started at the age of 8 to take piano lessons. She didn't like it, practicing over and over the same thing. Reading notes wasn't her thing. While trying to skip those boring things like notes she automatically started to play piano by ear and began to compose small compositions at early age. This interest lead to her starting to gain interest in composing songs on the computer.
