The Victory In Heaven Band announces the release of it's fifth CD titled, "V.I.H. V". Long-time fan favorites such as "Trouble Will Soon Be Over," "Don't Fool Yourself" and "Hold On..." are featured along with soon-to-be classics "Can't No Grave," "On Time," "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" and more. The CD was recorded by Badlees guitarist Bret Alexander at the Badlees' studio, Saturation Acres.
The year 2007 marks the 7th anniversary of The V.I.H. Band performing it's unique brand of funk, R & B and blues/rock. While trying to avoid categorization the band's heady mix of varying styles puts it squarely in the "jamband" camp along with their influences Little Feat, Robert Randolph and The Family Band and The Allman Brothers Band. The V.I.H. Band continues to perform upwards of 125 dates per year covering a four state area including PA, NJ, MD and Delaware as well as appearances in New York City. In spring 2004 the band performed for a week at Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida and in 2005 and 2006 at the NASCAR Pocono 500 as well as for corporate events for the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Corp.
Members of the band are: Larry Adam (keys, bgvs), Larry Baudoin (drums, bgvs), Kate Koch (bass) and Sterling Koch (steel guitar and lead vcs).
