The Songs:

It has taken more than two years to write and record these songs. All of the music and vocals you hear are mine. All of the songs were written by me except for the line "she took my dog, but she left her cat" in "Rescue Me" - that was suggested by my wife. Some of the songs were easy to write like âTerriâs Songâ which was written for my wife. Itâs about how we met one Saturday Night while my band was playing at a church function. I wrote her another song one year later, âStill Love Youâ, but she liked the first one best.

I always enjoyed the one, two, three of a Waltz and so, in 2006, I wrote âCare To Danceâ. âGoinâ The Other Wayâ was a tough one for me as I wrote it to try and cheer up my sister who was terminally ill with Breast Cancer. She never did get to hear it. âRescue Meâ, "My Turn To Get Aroundâ, and âYou Wonât Let Him Goâ, were songs I wrote about folks I know who have gone or are going through these things. âLeavinâ Thereâ was just a fun song I wrote while fooling around one night. I wish I could win a Lottery - ANY LOTTERY !

For the last several years Walt has been singing and playing in various places around the country. He was asked to sing at an Association Of Independent Artists Awards Banquet in Nashville, TN. He went on stage as a tourist at the Ryman Theater and sang "Who's Your Daddy". There were all of 12 people in the place at the time ... but he says it was GREAT !

He has auditioned for TV Shows like Nashville Star in Las Vegas, Star Search and Colgate Country Showdown and has been a contestant in local competitions like "Superwebstars" (2nd place two years in a row) and "Shower Of Stars". Walt has sang & jammed with local bands "Haywire" (Stardust Saloon, Glendale, AZ) and "Fred's Band" (Roadhouse Cafe, Sedona, AZ).

In 2004, 2005 & 2006 Walt sang at the Arizona State Fair. In 2005 he was invited to sing at âThe Lakes Restaurantâ ( Peoria, AZ) when they entertained a "Country Theme Night".

In April 2006 his Band "Tombstone Country", performed at the Pima County Fair outside of Tucson, AZ.

Walt comes from the East Coast but swears it's ok to sing Country Music because he had a Barn in his backyard where he grew up in SOUTH Jersey. His early band interest began in High School with the "Five Sided Square" singing mostly Rock & Roll. While performing at a local Church in New Jersey, Walt would meet his future wife and actually get married in that same Church. Terri (his future wife), told her mother that Saturday Night she was going to marry him (Walt had no clue - some things never change!)

Walt has one son Mike who has helped give Walt suggestions about songs to sing. He has also been very helpful in getting Walt up to speed on two websites "geocities.com/walterAwilliams and myspace.com/walterAwilliams.

Walt was one of those guys who joined the U.S. Army and went to Vietnam. He became part of the 9th Infantry Division, Recon 2nd/60th in the Mekong Delta. He says he was shot at more than a few times and this would probably explain a few things about him - HA ! Walt was awarded two Bronze Stars and a few Service Medals.
