Mary Wheelan, President of the Hilltown Alliance of Musicians and Songwriters, Inc., recently released her new C.D. entitled Teach A Little Peace: Songs for All Ages. By teaching about peace, Mary is not referring to political, anti-war songs about striving for peace on a global level. These songs are more about becoming at peace with ourselves on a personal level so we can be capable of living life in peace with others. The song "Frisbees" for instance is about not being too hard on oneself. So what if you cannot catch or throw a frisbee very well? What matters is having fun doing it. When we learn to accept ourselves with our strengths and our weaknesses then we can relate to other people in a kinder and more tolerat fashion.
