Born 1979 in South London with a mixed heritage of Guyanese and Irish, the artist/writer/producer âMike Whiteâ first appeared in the UK hip-hop scene in 1996, a couple of kids in Clapham joined forces to form the collective we now know as âBlinx Productions/Ruff Diamond Records Ltdâ. It started out as a bedroom hobby and almost ten years later of creating tracks with his long time associate âBlinxâ The birth of the most successful hip hop acts to emerge from England has finally graced us with its presence. âBlinx Productionsâ was on of the first hip-hop production teams to start building a home studio at such a young age in order to pursue a dream. Rapping and doing production under the titles of âBlinx & Whitemanâ they were known for creating particularly authentic tracks such as âSouth Sideâ and âBraveheartâ

By 2000 the team were already putting on shows and hosting their own raves at top London venues, it was during this time that âMike Whiteâ started to receive recognition from radio station DJâs, club promoters and record companies. He has enjoyed excessive recognition in literary circles after his involvement in the âMOBO Unsung 2003â coming runner up finalist and London and regional winners, under the title Ghostt.

His oeuvre includes works of poetry, fiction and non-fiction and he is best recommended for diversity. He has published work with artists such as âKim Applebyâ, âBig Brovasâ, âMc Shabbaâ and many more. With the first of four albums ready for release Mike Whites debut album has received outstanding reviews proves we actually do have a British product capable, as well as worthy of being a candidate for international sales, but, delivers an irresistible showcase of witty wordplay and an uncanny ability to create infectious songs. The LP also offers some of the most personal and thought provoking material signalling the birth of one of UKâs finest rappers.
