Harvey was formed February 2006 by Kevin Harvey (piano, vox), Alex Silverman (bass), and Chris Chandler (drums) - all three at Georgia Tech (Atlanta) at the time. They played a few shows, won a band competition and recorded a 4 song demo. But commitment differences forced members to part by last April. Alex graduates May 2007 and Chris is the drum line captain at GT - that kid is crazy. Kevin, having written more than an album's worth of music, began recording tracks in August and by November had picked out the twelve tracks - 2 from the demo and 10 others - that you hear on the album. With help from his GT friend Steven Sloan (album art and photography) and the guys at The Kitchen Mastering in Chapel Hill (www.kitchenmastering.com), Kevin's solo debut album Composing Bedlam is now finished and ready to BUY (subtle, well-placed marketing).
