"Fresh out da backyard for your enjoyment!" ILL VALLEY is the sickest rap collab to ever come out of the Hawaiian Islands. The two members of ILL VALLEY are Hoku Haiku and Patrick John. Each bring their own unique skills and talents to the project. Hoku is from the Island of Maui (The Valley Isle) and writes from a Kanak (island boy) perspective. Ill lyrics and and local Hawaiian flavor is what caught the ear of Mainland producer/ d.j. Patrick John. Now residing on the island of Oahu, the two set out to make original rap music on Patrick's indie label, BAYAN Records. Sick beats and witty "talk story" island slang, is what separates ILL VALLEY from the pack. Their underground EP release "Seeds and Stems", was met with praise by rap critics island wide and on the Mainland. The highly anticipated release of their full length self titled album "ILL VALLEY", is in stores now and a second album is already in the works. Be on the lookout for future performance dates.
