Jennifer Heieck loves music and you should too. We like to think of her as a Tori Amos meets Robert Plant kinda girl. Quick overview: Graduated from college and backpacked thru Europe; basically from pub to pub. Upon returning, she was hoping to get into law school to have some sort of direction in her life. Well she got in; of course after coarsing someone in admissions...but then, she turned it down. Needing a job and feeling totally stagnant, it became known she played piano and sang. Through a friend she got a job doing old time standards at a cigar bar. One thing led to another where she finally got the chance to cut her first record with Armand Petri- a pretty cool guy who had worked with the Goo goo dolls. She got a band together, started playing out, singing the anthem and was going head first at trying to win in a career she had dreamed of her whole life and had finally decided to take the chance- why not? She sold around 4,000 CD's on her own, and performed on a mini college tour of the East Coast back in 2003. She began work with Earl Cohen on her fourth record, SIMPLE GIRL, and now has another band where she plays out as much as possible. Through her manager, she landed a spot singing back-up for Enya on Regis and Kelly, and also the CBS Morning Show- Second Cup Cafe...both of which were very cool. Presently she not only is pursing a fifth EP, soon to be released through the internet, she also works in retail for GotDenim.com, and her father, who is a dentist, as a dental assistant. Yeh there's not much this girl isn't doing. I would recommend- if you EVER get a chance to hear this live? Don't miss it. HELL of a stage presence.
