Details:
Jenny Labow began performing as a solo artist in 1997, with the release of her
debut recording 'Flourish', originally released by Renaissance Records. In 1998 Jenny performed at Lileth Fair along side Sarah McLachlan, Sinead O'Connor and Natalie Merchant. In 1999, Labow made her acting debut in the feature film 'Chilicothe' which was featured at the Sundance Film Festival. She also contributed music to the film soundtrack. In that same year, the song 'Fade Away' was featured in the feature film 'Origin of Species', released by Warner Bros. In 2000, Jenny released her second recording 'Everything but You', which was also distributed by Renaissance Records. In 2002, several of Jenny's songs were included in the soundtrack for 'Sam and Janet', an independent feature film released by Monarch Entertainment and winner of the New York Independent Film Festival. In the spring of 2005, Jenny began collaborating with producer Dave Percefull on her third recording, 'Sunday Morning'.
'Sunday Morning' represents Jenny's music in a new way. With a slightly more
organic approach to production, you can feel the honesty that is always present in Jenny's songwriting. If you enjoy Liz Phair, Aimee Mann or Sarah McLachlan,
you'll love this record.
**Jenny's previous releases are available on iTunes.
