Details:
Jools Baker formed The Ascendance 2005 as a session band, based around the song writing of Jools Baker. The music ranges from pop jazz, acoustic pop rock and influences include soul, blues, jazz, rock, hip hop, funk and latin giving the musicians a wide range of styles to choose from.
Before developing into The Ascendance, a band was formed in the early 1990's by Jools Baker and Didi Byrne and later to be joined by Kri Mayer and Claudio Berla. This band was was called "Tribe Called Something" who recorded a cassette album called "Get Ready for the Changes". One thousand copies of this album were sold whilst the band toured Europe for over a year and a half before finally disbanding in 1994.
On returning to the UK, Jools Baker started to write a new and the most current album called "Blue Sky".
