Metronomicons most silly album to date? Koppen and his producer sissyfus takes a deep dive into the field of popular culture and comes up with forgotten superheroes, abandoned computergames, crazy noises and tic krash boom bang wheeee soundFX. Various japanese people Koppen met in japan is singing and talking, the computers are overloaded, the synths are screaming "help!" and Koppen is joined by his mutant friend RoboKoppen on a track.

Koppen joined the Metronomicon-collective in 2003, when he released his first CD-R entitled «Truck drivin' songs», a title which was in fact stolen from a cassette bought at a flee market. The songs were mainly made on a computer using a sequencer and an extensive collection of silly samples, but also with the use of acoustic instruments like banjo and melodica.

Koppen displays a wide range of musical influences, ranging from scary industrial sounds to circus-music. Thereâs also a certain leaning towards more traditional folk music, which one probably can trace back to Koppens past as a ramblin' man and folk singer. Koppen is a one-man-band. However, he has always worked in close proximity to producer Sissyfus (aka the Center of the Universe). Their collaboration is even more apparent on the latest release «My fashion statement is scrambled eggs», yet another title stolen from somewhere else. As a patron of Japanese popular culture, Koppen occasionally spends some time in Japan. On one of his trips he happened to meet a young boy that explained to him that his fashion statement was scrambled eggs, whatever thatâs supposed to mean.
