The Anthony Lattanze Band formed in 2003, led by singer-guitarist Anthony Lattanze who envisioned an ensemble with a big, fun sound and the musical strength to carry his honest lyrics confidently into the spotlight. Dancing is not optional.
"In a few short years, The ALB moved from being college friends into a solid live-concert attraction, winning the Beta Hi-Fi Festival at Philadelphias World Café Live (Summer 2006) and entertaining audiences from New York to Maryland in colleges, clubs, and cafes, opening for such national acts as the Gin Blossoms and Epic recording artists Marty Casey & Lovehammers. Venues have included: World Café Live (Philadelphia); WMMR 93.3s Live Rock Show at Grape Street (Philadelphia); The Chameleon Club (Lancaster, PA); Camp Jam in the Pines (Paradise Lake, NJ); Ocean 98.1s Music for the Heat Festival (Ocean City, MD); Fordham University (Bronx, NY); and alma mater Lebanon Valley College (Annville, PA) where the ALB members major in music.
"If you haven't already had a chance to check out The Anthony Lattanze Band, I think you should. Straight out of Philadelphia, I believe they'll re-write and re-engergize music from the ground up. Every generation has a period where music has stalled, that brief moment between Marky Mark and Tag Team, Abba, and Chingy...we wait for those music gods.
