Storyteller and musician, Dan LeMonnier, who recently retired after performing for eighteen years as Chicago Bulls mascot, Benny the Bull, is pleased to announce the release of his new CD, Begin Again, on his own BanjoTales label.

The CD consists of eleven songs written and performed by LeMonnier. The songs are part of a cycle of music he continues to write as part of the Childrenâs Chat series at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Munster, where Dan is a Stephan Minister and Youth Leader.

The project was produced by David Bragman at Shu-Man Studios in Chicago. Davis is an accomplished musician in his own right and is the head of the recording department at the Old Town School of Folk Music. He can be heard playing several instruments on the CD.

The artwork for the CD was produced by Dan's wife, Shari LeMonnier, whose paintings and sculpture have been seen nation-wide

Dan has taken his combination of wit, music and storytelling around the world with appeareances at the Smithsonian Instutite, the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Celebration, the Shanghai Children's Palace in th ePeople's Republic of China, Dublin, Ireland, England and Germany. He has performed at storytelling festivals, churches and school systems across the United States.

Besides his performing work, Dan is currently working on a Master's in Biblical Storytelling through the Academy of Biblical Storytelling, a part of the Network of Biblical Storytellers housed at Christian Theologicla Seminary in Indianapolis. He is a board member of the Christian Storytelling Network.
