A Musical Tribute to Anna Nicole

Eugene, Oregon â February 23, 2007 - Two professional musicians have collaborated on a musical tribute to Anna Nicole Smith, Equus Productions of Eugene, Oregon announced today. Oregon saxophonist, musician Paul J Biondi and Nashville singer/songwriter Lisa Webb have released their song, "THE REAL ANNA NICOLE". According to Biondi, he felt that something was missing in all of the media rush surrounding Smithâs tragic and untimely death.

"While listening to all the sensationalism of her life I was waiting for something positive to be forthcoming, and it wasnât happening. Thinking about my own path as a musician and entertainer, we encounter numerous roadblocks and obstacles on a daily basis on our musical journey ...Too often, our lives become an open book."

For her part, Webb was also struck by the fact that Smith was being defined by the same reoccurring sad stories; there was very little being mentioned about Anna Nicole, the person.
Webb said that she just could not get a feel for who Smith was.
