LOVE AND MAGIC - Richie and Linda Pollock - After 34 years of marriage and music, we are still on our honeymoon, celebrating the magic of love. Our original songs and poems reflect our inner connection to heart and consciousness that heals and inspires. We hope you enjoy this CD, and we are extremely excited about releasing our newest one some time in the upcoming year. Linda and I are featured in the book "Love Letters Of A Lifetime - Romance In America" by the late Dana Reeve, wife of Christopher Reeve and former host of Lifetime Television. Linda is from Montreal and I am from Brooklyn. We met in Copenhagen, Denmark and wrote each other love letters for 4 years without seeing each other before we were married, which is why we were chosen to be in this book. We are also featured in the book "Working Musicians" by Bruce Pollock of BMG Music, alongside such notables as Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Carole King, etc. Here we describe our history as international street performers. Linda and I have published two beautifully illustrated storybooks, "Callie The Caterpillar's Greatest Adventure" and "Seymour's Winter Leaves", both of which share conscious messages with young children. Our other musical CD, "Oh How Lucky We Are", is a big hit with kids. We are presently producing a book and line of greeting cards, marrying my uplifting lyrics with the enchanting paintings of violin virtuoso, Julienna. We hope to touch people's hearts with our message of hope, gratitude and the possibility of peace within the heart of each human being on the face of this earth. We tour with 3 concerts: "Playtime With Love And Magic" for preschoolers (interactive singing, dancing, stories and poems), "Love And Magic's Hit Senior Cabaret" for health and wealthy seniors to the poor and dying (tunes from the 1920's upward, Broadway musical showtunes, songs in various languages, etc.) and our "Love And Magic's Original Concert" (high energy songs to soft melodic tunes, poems and stories that express our experience of life, joy and relationship).
