Edwin Anthony Lugo is the Nephew of Puerto Rican Roberto Clemente Walker, student at Performing Arts High School, the AMAS Repertory and The University of Texas at Austin, Lugo began to sing in church at the age of three. He went on to win Showtime at the Apollo and then to co-star on Broadway with Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades in âPaul Simonâs The Capeman". Lugo is also a film actor appearing in âThe Children of times Squareâ with Howard Rollins and at Robert Redfordâs Sundance Theatre. As a musician Lugo played Percussion for Christina Aguilera at Radio City Music Hall and headlined at the Jazz Café in London and at the Nuyorican Poets Café in his native New York.
