MARIANGELA CELESTE is of Italian-Greek origin .She grew up in Germany in a classical orientated artistic environment and has also lived in Greece, England and the US. She is a singer and composer who experienced her first success in her very early teens when she recorded her first LP in England with the famous musician VANGELIS PAPATHANASSIOU as her producer. The album was simply called MARIANGELA. Throughout the years she appeared in several international song festivals with her own compositions receiving great critics. Besides being a singer, songwriter and producer she is recently also the director of her own independent music label ''Golden Swan Musicââ. Mariangela is also a meditation teacher of Tibetan Buddhism.

Her new CD is called "I SHALL RETURN". It was inspired by the beautiful love poems of the legendary ''Sixth Dalai Lama'' who lived in the 17th century and was betrayed and killed at a very early age after prophesizing his own death and rebirth in a place called Lithang.

These seventeen love songs, are wonderfully arranged within a fusion of pop-folk, ethnic and new age music that make the CD, combined with Mariangela's outstanding, enchanting vocals, an extremely pleasant,often surprising and reviving experience to the listener!
The CD has also a beautiful booklet with all the lyrics of the songs in English, Tibetan and its transliteration. One amongst these songs have been chosen for the selection of the new ââBUDDHA BARââ compilation CD.
