Imagine that a Metaphysical Master put some of his most important spiritual lessons into his songs and recorded them with the production help of one of his spiritual students. That is the short history of how this CD entitled, âWaiting Inside,â was made. The slightly longer history is below.

As a beginning singer-songwriter in the early 1970s, one day Allan Martin Osman got fed up with the state of this world and declared, âThere must be more to life than what goes on in this crazy world, so I must find it.â With this declaration, Allan put aside his professional and musical pursuits to seek Higher Consciousness. He read, he searched, he stood on his head, meditated for hours, but found nothing that made total sense to him until, in his early twenties, he met a Metaphysical-Spiritual Master Teacher in Los Angeles, California who he now affectionately calls, Lady Master Bernice.

Bernice was a caring, fun-loving, extremely intuitive, clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsenscient Spiritual Master Teacher (and remains so now from the Other Side of Life). She combined her conscious connection to God within her with wonderful practical counseling skills and was already helping many people when Allan met her. After some initial resistance, Allan embraced the loving, caring God that Bernice knew and shared so intimately; and he began to not only live, but eventually to teach, The Keys to Reality Teachings that Bernice had brought onto the planet.

Having previously studied some serious Yoga Teachings, and some even more serious Zen Buddhist teachings, Allan had put his musical side on hold until he encountered Berniceâs loving teachings, which soon brought out the spiritual words and music from deep within him. With this change of heart, Allan began to write songs again, but instead of songs complaining about the mindless pollution and waste of natural resources this modern world was guilty of, Allan began to write songs about the many âlarger than lifeâ spiritual insights that came to him through his study and counseling work with Lady Master Bernice.

Beginning with just his voice and guitar, Allanâs spiritual songwriting and performing evolved throughout the 70s and 80s. He stopped performing when he took his place as a full time Spiritual Teacher in the early 80s, which relegated him to singing his âmessageâ songs part-time at the Prayers for the Planet Meetings he conducted back then in Los Angeles, and still conducts now in Las Vegas.

Allan had never professionally recorded any of his spiritual songs until 1997 when he recorded this CD entitled, âWaiting Inside.â The spiritual messages in the songs of âWaiting Insideâ are universal and uplifting; the music is reminiscent of a combination of the Moody Blues and Genesis. Allan is presently working on his second CD which will contain a more intimate, somewhat more acoustic, accompaniment to some of the very many fine compositions he has written over the many years. We all look forward to this release sometime later this year.

One of the many things that Allan has taught me is that it is never too late to create, to perform, to contribute to the well being of yourself and others through performing words and music that heal and inspire. This CD may make you think, it may make you feel, it may make you think about how it makes you feel â but it will always remind you that there is more to life than just what meets the eye, but in a lighthearted, non-preachy way.
