BETTER: Because I am not as interested in arriving as I am in traveling,
and I am interested in being good, but more interested in being better.
Making music and making art is an ongoing process. For me, this record is the sum of a relative moment in the process.
These are ten of fifteen songs we recorded live to two track analog in three days.
We sat In Brian Carterâs vibey home studio (Paradox Studios, Murfreesboro) with no headphones and played the songs. There were no edits or fixes. This record is presented to you as we played it that day. The only way to do this is to work with the best musicians there are, which I had the good grace of doing.
I hope you enjoy this record as much as I enjoyed recording it those three summer days.
