Bio: A young heart, and old soul, a 4'11" dynamo is blasting blues-rock music into the new age.
Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt, and Janis Joplin are all having lunch with Amanda as she whips up a stew of rockin' rhythm and blues. Blessed with vocal prowess and a magnetic presence on stage this girl has the power. Unlike many performers mining blues-rock these days, her singing style is pleasantly unselfconscious. She sings without restraint and nails the mood of every song with a sexy, offhand style that's on target with today's musical zeitgeist. Her debut c.d. of 10 songs is flavored with rock and blues stylings which convey an admirable degree of intensity while managing to weigh in radio friendly. Listening to songs such as " Livin In The Dark " and " Favorite Kiss " it's easy to imagine Amanda as a young Bonie Raitt or Melissa Ethridge.
Amanda began singing at the age of 5 and to date has performed in over 1585 live venues. After winning numerous awards and opening for such national acts as David Lee Roth, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Johnny Lang, and Jeff Healey to name a few, it is obvious that this girl belongs on the big stage.
